Has there been movies that you find with each repeated viewing it simply gets better and better? Of course there's movies I loved from the the first time I seen it, and though I may have since then seen it numerous times I still find it every bit as good. I will give three examples. Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption and Casablanca all are movies I loved from the very first viewing. If I were to see any of those 3 today I would still love them. But what about movies you didn't love ...

Will Ferrell and his writing partner Adam McKay have launched a new site a few weeks ago. FunnyOrDie.com is a comedy video site. Anyone can upload any video clip they find funny. Kinda like YouTube, but the only difference will be your clip will be rated by viewers. Viewers will either find it funny or it will die. Too many negative reviews and it will be banished. I think they have a section for the rejected videos. The first homemade video on there is done by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay...

It seems like every band is reuniting this year, which is great for some music fans or, in some cases, not so good. All of them will tour this year, with some of them releasing new material. Here are some of the groups. The Police, Genesis, Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, The Stooges, The Pixies, Crowded House and Jesus & Mary Chain. If I'm forgetting any please feel free to tell me. Are you glad any of them are reuniting? Any of them you want to see? I heard The Police and...

"I'm no hero", I tell myself out loud as I look in the rearview mirror again for the umpteenth time. I'm headed from town hall where I just received a plaque and the key to the city for rescuing 2 little girls. It's the 2nd honor I received. Yesterday in a town 10 miles east of here (the 2 girls' hometown) I was given a medal and a huge gift card from Wal-Mart. All the papers in the surrounding areas did stories on me, even some national media carried it. Out of all the things I experience...

I feel sick. My stomach is turning. At first from not eating all day then from anxiety. See, it's still light out, and I hardly ever leave home while the sun is still out. I'm no vampire, but I am a monster. A modern day Elephant Man. I live in New York City. My sister and I share an apartment on the 14th floor. Apartment 14B. I know it says 14th floor, but since there's no 13th floor, we technically live on the 13th floor. They say the number 13 is bad luck, well it has been for me and m...

I never been a computer guy. Not that I have anything against computers. I never thought they were some kind of fad that was going to be replace by something better ( I'm not a disgrunted former Betamax owner or anything like that). The closest I ever got to owning a computer was when I bought a webtv a while back. Okay, so it wasn't close at all. But it still provided what i wanted it for - To e-mail family and friends, read newspapers and most importantly, to enter sports fantasy leagues...

Here is my attempt at Kelly's Writing Challenge. Link I like to thank Maso for the inspiration. Link He: Here I sit all wet About a woman I rather forget Don't want to sound too upset Only wish we never met Being stuck is a trial Hate it here on this isle Bitching isn't my style But Hell I been here awhile As I began to scream and wail She showed up at my jail And being I was a male I was ready to set sail But i didn't get my ...

This blog is inspired by Dr. Guy's Real Democracy article and Little Whip's Label one. I'm not a regular here. I came in here about 14 months ago, and mostly read a lot of different articles by a lot of different bloggers before attempting to write my first. There are many in here who write interesting, thought-provoking, entertaining and/or funny blogs, and in those articles we form an idea of who the author is. We then base an opinion on the author solely on their writings. Either from ...

I know a lot of families have big home-cooked Sunday dinners, but how about on Fridays and Saturdays? On most Saturdays we eat at restaurants. I don't know why we don't cook at home more, and I love to cook, too. My theory is, we have done the "eating out" thing for so many Saturdays that it's now part of our routine. It's not like we eat at expensive places. At the most, we usually spend around 20 dollars. Then there's times when I feel extremely lazy ( I'm so lazy I have different...

Locamama tagged me. So here are my 5 embarrassing moments. I don't know if it's my 5 most embarrassing moments but they are the first 5 that came to mind. If I can still think of them years later I think it says something. Saying that though I hope you take even my sad ones as me being okay with them. As embarrassing it may have been to me I do hope you enjoy reading them. EMBARRASSING MOMENT #1 - I was in the 3rd grade, and in the finals of the spelling bee. I not only was scared of spel...
