I don't nap unless I'm sick or my thyroid medication needs tinkered...in fact, that is one of my warning signs...napping.

Common sense...all I can say is, sometimes I feel like a nut, sometimes I don't.  heh.  My husband swears I am missing the common sense gene when it comes to things like safety.....but I'm learning.

I would love to go up in a hot air balloon, but get scared of heights. I've never been in a chopper but I don't think I'd have a problem with that, just so long as I concentrated on looking ahead and not down. But this would defeat the purpose, wouldn't it?

I agree with you about intelligence and common sense. I believe common sense can be taught, to a certain extent. It reminds me of a quote by someone: "There is only one thing more painful than learning from experience and that is not learning from experience." I think common sense is the ability to learn from experience and mistakes and move forward. Those who don't, regardless of their degrees or whatever, will never be smart, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm a big fan of naps but rarely take them anymore. To be honest, I have so much energy these days, I just don't feel the need.

Oh I love anything with Bryan Cranston! He's such a good character actor!  I loved, love Malcolm in the Middle! Cracks me up everytime and I enjoy the reruns!  I started watching Breaking Bad but didn't finish the season. Other shows got in the way!LOL! I'll probably have to go online to see if they have it or watch for the DVD.

Breaking Bad

I saw the first episode, which I thought was pretty interesting. Maybe I should try seeing it again.

Lemonade There are so many places here that sell homemade lemonade and damn it tastes so good. My mother can make some great lemonade. Mmmm I love it!

Don't worry...we will definitely try that recipe.   I love me some lemonade, too.

I’ve always said some people who are book smart or school smart can lack any common sense. When you see a person who to you isn’t intelligent is it because he lacks education or is it because he never read enough or is it because they lack common sense.

Well, you know better than anyone that I lack some common sense.  I think I am not as bad as I used to be (and don't try to dispute this!).

Naps Does anyone take naps anymore? Do kids? Do adults?

I like naps.  I find myself not doing them right now since I am not working.  Once I head back to work later this summer, though, I think the habit will return.  Maybe I wouldn't need them if I got enough sleep, though.   I find myself napping several times a week during my work week.

I hate that some people look down on them, though (I have co-workers who think naps are for lazy people.  They don't use the exact word "lazy", but they might as well.  Maybe they're just ....jealous of us nappers...lol.

Balloon

Never tried it and have never had the desire to do so. I love heights but hat air balloon rides are kinda scary considering you are at the winds mercy as oppose to a chopper who, while also at the winds mercy, is more controllable. Just my thoughts on balloon rides.

Anniversary

I lost track of mine since the system has never been able to tell me my exact tade I joined. When I first joined it said I had joined since more than a year before. I thought that was weird. Anyway, congrats on being on JU for so long. Great place, isn’t it?

Breaking Bad

Never heard of it. And would definitely avoid DrGuy after he eats beans. I wouldn’t mind having a TiVo, but that would mean I have to pay for cable/satellite service, can’t afford it right now. Oh well.

Lemonade

Oh I could go for some right about now but the closest thing right now to me is that Crystal Light thing you put in a bottle of water. Guess I’ll have to settle for now. Thanks to you now I see myself going to the store to get some lemons. Thanks a lot. LOL. I wonder how quick the Govt would shut us down if I put my kids to sell lemonade on the sidewalk. Then again I’d be more fearful of someone stealing their money or worse, kidnapping them.

I take one once in a while on the weekends but with my kids home, it’s kinda pointless. Also I don’t like it much cause I end up sleeping more than I should then I go to sleep late at night. Besides, I’ll wait till I retie and take all the naps I want.
