It must've been the way I slept, but I woke up this morning with a big stiff one. Maybe it was the way I had the pillows last night. I couldn't even turn, everytime I did I felt pain. A sharp pain. I haven't felt pain from it being stiff in a long time. My GF even offered to massage it for me, but I turned her down. Yes, guys, I turned her down. Getting a massage for a stiff NECK does not help. It actually hurts. My neck was so sore. Maybe I slept with the pillows too high. I couldn't even...

I woke up late today. It was 11:40, and by the time I got around to eating, breakfast had turned into lunch. I had a chicken sandwich and some hash browns. To wash it down I drank some ice cold water. Now I love water, but for some strange reason I had a strong desire for an ice cold Pepsi. I don't know what it is but when it starts getting cold out I like drinking Pepsi. With each bite my thirst for a Pepsi heightens. It was like I was an addict in need of a fix. Soon I was singing, a...

I know everyone has bad days. Some worse than others. I also know that some bloggers in here have had bad days, far worse than anything I should be complaining about. But the day I'm going to talk about isn't a complaint at all. Here is the day I experienced. About a week ago I had a miserable day. Nothing major happened. It was just one of those days where nothing goes right, and a million little things add up until you're mad. I got home, turned on the television and put it on one o...

As we get nearer to Halloween I'm seeing more and more ads for Haunted Houses. I'm really not a fan of them. It's not that I'm scared, I just never had great experiences at them. When I was 12, some of my friends and I went to a Haunted House. It was fun until the little sister of one of my friends threw up all over my new shoes. They should have put that in their ad, "Our house is so scary you'll puke on someone's shoes". When I was 15 I was excited about Halloween. I was going to wor...

Saturday night my GF's family took us out to dinner for her birthday. We all went to a buffet place. With her family and us there was 11 of us. I have met all of her family before so this article isn't about meeting them for the first time. When I was in line waiting to get a fat juicy medium rare steak, I saw something that made me have a flashback. Some years back while living in Buffalo, I was at another buffet place, the reason? I was meeting for the first time the parents of the woman...

Think I'll have another drink, Just give me the bottle, I don't want know one to think That I'm a role model. Think I'll have another swig, Look at the man stare, He may be very big, But I really don't care. Think I'll have another glass, Feeling my temper cooking, About to whip some ass, If he doesn't stop looking. Think I'll have another taste, As the starer looks at me tough, I'm about to get in his face, For see of him I had enough. Think I'll have another shot, ...

There's so many terrific album covers out there. Some great photos. Some great paintings. I like a lot of them, but my favorite is Aerosmith's Toys in the Attic. The reason is back when I was 15 I talked my father into letting me paint 2 walls in my bedroom. Providing I bought the paint with my own money. I decided to paint an album cover on each wall. The first wall I painted I went the easy route. I painted the album cover from "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. It turned real nic...

Sunday night while watching television, my GF asked me if I noticed anything about her socks. I'm pretty proud of myself, despite watching "Desperate Housewives", more specifically Eva Longoria, I did notice that she had on two different socks. Now had it been Salma Hayek on the screen I might not had notice if one foot was bare and the other in a clown shoe. It wasn't as bad as she thought. Both were white, the same length and since the only difference was the color stitching at the toes...

I'm asking who's your favorite. Your favorites who are still living, and your favorites who are no longer living. They don't have to be who you think is the greatest, just ones you like for whatever reason. The only thing I ask is to keep each question to 3 answers or less. I know that's asking alot considering how many fantastic players there really are all there. I had trouble sticking with my own request but I narrowed it down. My 3 favorite guitarists that are no longer with us is: ...

I was going to write a blog on this after watching a poker tournament on ESPN. In that particular tournament, they were asking poker pros, if poker was a sport or a competition, surprisingly their answers were down the middle. I thought for sure they would say it was a sport. I asked a few people I know, who aren't into poker at all, and more surprisingly they thought it was a sport, with one woman saying, "Of course it is, otherwise it wouldn't be on all the sports channels." Before I wa...

How much does music play into our lives? Isn't there certain songs that bring back memories? While channel surfing on the radio, on the way home from running errands, I hear the Chris Isaak song "Wicked Games". I have always referred to it as the "I Don't Want To Fall in Love" song. And you know how songs can bring back memories. It brought back this memory. It was late July of 2004. It was a typical Midwestern summer day, which meant it was 90 degrees and humid as hell, which meant I was ...
