Or Do I Need To Chill Out?
Here is what happened to me one day last week.
Before I get to my rants. Let me start by saying when I get frustrated at traffic jams, grocery stores or wherever one of my favorite things to say is "COME ON!" I usually follow it with "What the Hell is going on?" or "Can't people drive in this town" or "Jesus! I don't believe this".
My first rant. I'm driving down the road. No cars in front of me no cars behind me I'm the only car going in my direction. Yet a driver decides to pull out in front of me causing me to almost come to a complete stop. The other driver then goes like 25 feet and pulls into a fast food restaurant parking lot. Grrrrrr!! Instead of just letting me go by this crazy driver almost causes an accident. And this isn't an isolated incident it happens at least once a week to me. COME ON!!
Speaking of fast food restaurants my second rant involves being at one. I was in a fast food place and the line was long. The drive-thru line was even longer. Most fast food places don't have the largest of menus, and the one I was at has had basically the same menu for years. Yet half the people in line weren't ready by the time it was their turn to order. "Welcome to ___________ may I take your order?" "Yeah ...ummm.. give me a ... aahhh .. ummmm .. I guess I'll take a ... aahhh ... ummmm" Grrrrrr!! See that person behind them shaking his head? That's me! COME ON!!
Now my last rant. After leaving the fast food restaurant I stopped at a convenience store to buy the newspapers and a pop. When I got there I was the only customer, but by the time I get ready to pay there's like 8 other customers in line. Oh well that's my fault since I was glancing through magazines. The thing that DID bother me though was no one is ever ready to pay. Everybody is waiting there in line looking around as if bored but no one is ready to pay. When they get to the head of the line the clerk tells them their total then finally they get out their wallet or finally dig into their purses. You think they would have an idea how much they're spending so have your money ready. I know it's a very minor thing but COME ON!
So what do you think? Worthwhile rants? Or do I just need to chill out?
My GF already voted. she thinks I need a chill pill. I think someone should take my side. COME ON!
